A way of drawing with light and dark for a church. Illustration of church to practice with a pencil to create light and dark. I learned how to paint a castle in a monochrome, such as white and black. It made me more interested in a painting of an imaginary castle that looks like a massive fort in a fantasy kingdom.

An existing scene I created as a historical scene. It was an exercise in perspective. I researched Victorian architecture on Google. I drew with a pencil on the paper and scanned the printer. Then, I used Photoshop. I noticed a stronger emphasis on colour composition. I made adjustment layers in Photoshop, emphasising the different colours of the background, street, trees, semi-detached houses and people. The Victorian Age began as an age of realism in literature, art and culture. I learned the most important history of Victorian architecture and cultural styles. I studied life drawing and environment painting and learned to apply these skills to create beautiful, practical characters and worlds. 

Perspective drawing used Ancient Egypt and Star Wars influences to create an inhabited planet. It was then rendered in Adobe Photoshop to add form and colour.  Pencil Drawing Adobe Photoshop Pencil Drawing Adobe Photoshop

These were some of the concept art environments that I did for my artwork for the University Centre Doncaster in 2005 - 2007.  I had a basic knowledge of drawing and Adobe Photoshop are necessary. I used pencil and paper. Then I used scanner and drew a computer with a Wacom tablet. Illustration of of fruit to practice realistic computer painting using Adobe Photoshop.
